Fundamentals Of Environmentally Friendly Clothing

By Minnie Whitley

Our mannerism and how we behave are highly determined by our mode of dressing. Fashion preferences of the person do not matter. However, environmentally friendly clothing is essential to everyone. The fact that a cloth fits you or that it is of your preferred color should not inform you choice but rather its relevance to your needs.

Weather is also an issue that needs looking at. The weather conditions of your location determine how you ought to adorn yourself. Heavy outfits like coats are not meant to be worn all the time like some people do. Even if you are going to the office on a hot day, it is better to just put on a shirt to avoid the excessive heat produced by a coat. Your comfort should come first before appearance.

Some people also like light attires like blouses and shorts. To them, this is the epitome of being smart. Ladies in particular are quite funny. Most of them think that revealing most of their body parts make them smarter. As a result, they do not mind being briefly adorned when the weather demands that one covers themselves from cold. This should be changed to avoid situations where the weather can cause some diseases.

The weather conditions aside, clothes are also considered to be environmentally friendly if they are made of the right materials. This is an era where technology is really advancing. People therefore have the free will of choosing from a variety of materials. Still, there is need to choose materials that are recyclable and safely disposable.

For many years, cotton has always been the best raw material for cloth design. In some cases it has complementary additives like polyester and silk. There is no problem so long as they are also not a threat to environmental conservation. Once the garments are old and worn out, they are either recycled or disposed in a way that is eco-friendly

Stock your wardrobe according to the urgency of usage. Avoid keeping so many things that are not needed. Instead of having excess clothes, it is better to get only the ones you need to avoid pollution. This way, you will help in reducing the amount of clothes that need to be disposed leading to a more organized and useful wardrobe.

The people we meet in our daily encounters make our environment. When someone is in a given outfit, some people become annoyed. For example, there are men who do not like ladies in trousers or miniskirts. The occasion should therefore be the key determining factor of how a person dresses and not their preferences. Chances of being accepted are higher if you are always relevant to the theme and function.

People will judge your character basing on many factors, one of which is the way you dress. As a result they will form a predetermined o-pinion about you and label you appropriately. For example, it is possible to be called a pastor from your mere appearance in a suit. The environment is beautified when people groom themselves well and make the right choices when it comes to clothing.
