The Apple iPod 5th Generation captures up to full HD 1080P. So if you wish to something on here, it takes about 2 hours, 2-4 hours worth of footage which is impressive because when you consider something like this, it kind of take away what I used to have that has been the Flip Mino or the Kodak Zi8. This video cam as you can probably say it is, instead of employing this iPod for music, I've used this for video cam - it's so slender, really light, about 88grams and yes it also allows you to be capable to shut off and switch on to so many different functions too.
Now, another thing I love about it is that you can plug in a simple external microphone just like the other Apple accessories that you have. It's quite simple, you just add an adapter that you just plug directly into here and then you'll be able to hook up your external mic which works perfectly.
By doing that you can talk at a very far distance like I really could be speaking few meters away from the iPod and I'll get excellent sound. If you'd like to do self-recording too, you can attach the iPod Touch on a tripod with a special adapter.

On the other hand, it's also super easy to transfer files to your computer via iTunes and you could have your videos in minutes.
